We had a really lovely check-in experience thanks to Kashish at the front desk. She was so warm, friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and made us feel instantly at ease after our journey. She explained everything clearly, was very patient with our questions and honestly set the tone for a great stay. It makes such a difference when the first person you meet is that kind and professional. Thank you, Kashish, for such amazing service. We really appreciate you!

Beautiful hotel, the rooms were clean and the bed was huge. The TV had Netflix so you could sign in and watch what you like. The room had a fridge which was really handy. The staff at reception were really nice and helpful, the bar area was a lovely atmosphere and plenty of spaces to sit on a Saturday night. The breakfast was nice, but it loses a star because we were so disappointed in the lack of vegetarian/vegan options, which meant we paid the same price for things we couldn’t have. No option for vegetarians sausages or alternative milks to dairy, so if you’re having tea or coffee the only option is dairy. Most hotels these days have the soya/oat/almond options which makes a huge difference and makes you feel catered for and considered, but the lack of these options really did disappoint us. With it being a 4 star hotel, I wouldn’t consider the breakfast to be 4 star. The pool area was great, can be busy at times and isn’t the biggest pool but it’s lovely and a great temperature, the steam room was wonderful too. The gym was impressive and had pretty much everything you need for a solid workout. It’s about 30 min walk outside of York city centre. Overall a lovely stay but let down by the lack of consideration for vegetarians, vegans and anyone with an intolerance or allergy.

Superb long weekend stay. Great location with local bus to central York and 2 pubs close by. Rooms large clean and well appointed. Food excellent and spa also excellent. Special mention for Jessica in the reception area. Truly outstanding customer service, really helped make the stay stress free and enjoyable.

We stayed at this hotel for valentines weekend. The hotel is stunning, we stayed in just a standard room but it felt like luxury! Very spacious and clean. From the moment we walked to the moment we left the staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The hotel gives you access to the gym, pool, and spa which is an amazing extra treat. We had the breakfast which had a large variety of foods to choose from so there’s always something for everyone. The hotel is very close to the city centre, also close by to local shops, petrol stations, and bus stops. I would definitely stay at this hotel again! Thanks a lot.

From start to finish excellent customer service! The food is high quality produce especially the bacon at breakfast. Their homemade chocolate cakes are enormous! Had a meal last night in the restaurant and the staff mainly Bryn and Lucky were exceptional so helpful/ friendly and knowledgeable. The drive to Whitby had amazing scenery. Had a fantastic weekend .highly recommend. Pool next and sauna etc. etc. Gale hart

Exceptional stay – highly recommended! I recently stayed at the Delta Hotel in York and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The Service: Truly "perfect" is the only word to describe it. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The Room: I was impressed by how spacious and cozy the room was. It’s rare to find such a great balance of a "huge" layout with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always my top priority. The Breakfast: A real highlight! They offer a fantastic variety, whether you’re looking for a full English breakfast or a lighter continental selection. You can pretty much get whatever you’re craving to start your day right. If you’re visiting York and want a comfortable, high-quality experience, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

Stayed for two nights while attending a new product launch event in York. Overall, it was a good stay and the hotel is well suited for business events. The first room unfortunately wasn’t as clean as expected, so I requested a change. The team handled it and upgraded me to new room, which I appreciated. While the second room was better, it still wasn’t clean — at that stage I didn’t want to make things any more difficult, so I left it. On a positive note, dinner at the restaurant was good, and the bar area had a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant, which made a big difference to the overall experience. With a bit more attention to housekeeping standards, this would easily be a higher-rated stay. A solid option in York, especially for events and business trips.

Friendly and helpful staff all round. The check in process could have been improved by increasing the number of machines available to register car registration numbers. Our room - a ground floor deluxe had evening we could have wished for - fridge, kettle, coffee etc. The lighting and the availability of plugs, phone charging sockets, hair dryers were excellent. Plenty of good luggage storage and very clean. The large king-size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the overbath shower provided more than sufficient pressure to wash long hair. Toiletries supplied were good quality. Room Service was excellent with rooms checked daily. The Spa - pool, sauna, steam room and gym were a lovely place to relax albeit they were a little busy of an evening. The hotel was a short and relatively inexpensive taxi ride in to York. This was less expensive than taking the car to town and paying for parking. After reading past reviews the hotel exceeded our expectations. If we are back in York we would consider staying again.
